5 Ways WWE could surprise us on RAW tonight

Tonight's episode of WWE RAW is truly stacked. The biggest segment heading into tonight's show is the return of former WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns who is set to address the fans in the arena tonight. We don't know yet what WWE ha planned for Roman Reigns but we do know that Reigns has started training ahead of his in-ring return. We don't know when this will be but could come at WrestleMania 35 itself if he is good to go.

Tonight's RAW will also see a celebration for Ric Flair's 70th birthday. Flair's star-studded bash in Atalanta recently was graced by a number of WWE legends including Ricky Steamboat, Triple H and Shane McMahon as well as All Elite Wrestling star Chris Jericho.

Will 'The Beast' be on RAW tonight? It seems unlikely but it could always happen. However, with Reigns on the show tonight, that decreases the chance of 'The Beast' showing up further since it's Rollins vs Lesnar at Mania and WWE may not want Lesnar and Reigns to cross paths on TV.

#5 Becky Lynch crashes Ric Flair's birthday celebration

Will Becky Lynch crash Ric Flair's birthday celebration tonight?

16-time world champion and wrestling legend Ric Flair recently turned 70 and WWE will celebrate his birthday tonight on RAW. However, WWE could and probably do have bigger plans for this segment than just to celebrate Ric's birthday.

We all know how Becky Lynch was replaced in her Mania match with Charlotte Flair, a decision made by Vince McMahon, who also suspended Lynch for 60 days.

Lynch could use tonight's celebration as cover for another sneak attack on Charlotte Flair. It's set up perfectly for Lynch to infiltrate RAW once again to wreak havoc. We'll have to wait to see what goes down though.

#4 We get a big moment from The Shield

Roman Reigns returns to RAW tonight to make a big announcement. We don't yet know what that will be but WWE could use this chance to do one of two things.

Firstly, it can be WWE"s chance to bring The Shield together for one last time with Ambrose reportedly turning down a new contract. Or, WWE could have Roman announce that he will have his brother Seth Rollins' back at WrestleMania 35.

We all know that Kurt Angle's illustrious in-ring career is almost at an end. Angle could be set to wrestle his retirement match soon, according to reports. The only question is regarding who he will face and whether it will be a singles match or some sort of tag-team match.

Angle could announce his impending retirement tonight on RAW before we find out more about his opponent.

#2 Sasha and Bayley get their first challengers and they may not be from RAW

Sasha Banks and Bayley went into the history books at WWE Elimination Chamber after becoming the first-ever WWE Women's Tag-Team Championships. However, Sasha and Bayley haven't found out who their next challengers will be (probably at Fastlane).

WWE could surprise us in a big way by having a team from NXT challenge Sasha and Bayley instead one of the teams they already beat at Elimination Chamber.

#1 NXT stars return to RAW

Aleister Black

Aleister Black, Ricochet, Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa all made their main roster debuts last week on RAW to much fanfare before an impressed Shane McMahon invited them to SmackDown Live.

It won't be surprising to see at least a couple of these stars back on RAW tonight. One NXT Superstar who has already said goodbye to NXT is Aleister Black and he's seemingly going to be a permanent fixture on the main roster.
