Well, we are just coming off the end of WWE Survivor Series 2017 and wasn't that one hell of a strange conclusion to the main event? The Traditional 5 vs 5 Men's Elimination match wasn't all that great to begin with but the end really had everyone shaking their heads in confused disappointment.

Inspired by WWE Creative's solid booking decision for that finish, we decided to take a look at the Survivor Series history books and scour four other match conclusions which were just as bad if not worse.

So, without any further ado, let's get into our list of the 5 worst match finishes in Survivor Series history:

#5) Randy Orton vs The Big Show (Survivor Series 2013)

*Sigh*
*Sigh*

There was something just diabolically bad in this match between Randy Orton and The Big Show for the WWE Championship back at WWE Survivor Series 2013. Right from the moment that Show replaced Daniel Bryan - who was the fan's favourite - this match never stood a chance.

They could still have done something a little better than having Triple H's music distract The World's Largest Athlete and have him lose the match from there. Just not good enough.

#4) The Bushwhackers & Men On A Mission Vs Bam Bam Bigelow, Bastion Booger, & The Headshrinkers (Survivor Series 1993)

There weren't really high hopes for this match seeing who all were involved, but every little bit of enthusiasm just died when The Bushwhackers and Men on a Mission came out in Doink clown masks for some inexplicable reason.

What made matters worse, though, was the actual finish of the match. Bam Bam Bigelow - the most talented wrestler in this whole fracas - was pinned by having his opponents dogpile on top of him. Just, what?

#3) Kurt Angle, Triple H, Finn Balor, Samoa Joe, & Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon, Randy Orton, John Cena, Bobby Roode, & Shinsuke Nakamura (Survivor Series 2017)

Dumb

Now, we come to the finish that inspired this article in the first place, the Traditional 5 on 5 Men's Elimination match from WWE Survivor Series 2017. Having already failed to live up to expectations throughout the 30-odd minute match, things took a turn for the worse at the end.

Kurt Angle had Shane McMahon locked in the Ankle Lock and instead of just letting things end, Triple H Pedigreed Angle and then pulled Shane into the cover and got his own teammate eliminated.

This was followed by Hunter "fooling" everyone for a couple of minutes before delivering a Pedigree to Shane O'Mac and winning the match himself. This led to Braun Strowman attacking The Game. Why did any of this happen? Who the bloody hell knows.

#2) Triple H vs Vladimir Kozlov vs Edge

Triple H makes his second entry on this list here and this one is so weird. The match was originally supposed to be a Triple Threat match between Hunter, Vladimir Kozlov, and Jeff Hardy. Instead, Hardy was found unconscious and hence unable to compete.

This led to a one vs one encounter for a majority of the match between Trips and Kozlov but then Vickie Guerrero came out to announce that, "he's here". That person for some reason was Edge, who joined in to make it a Triple Threat.

As if this wasn't bad enough, then Jeff came out to attack Edge with a chair, missed him and nailed The Game in the head instead. The Ultimate Opportunist pinned him to become the new WWE Champion.

#1) Debra, The Fabulous Moolah, Mae Young & Tori Vs Ivory, Jacqueline, Luna & Terri Runnels (Survivor Series 1999)

This one was just plain hilarious more than anything else. When a match involving eight people doesn't even go two minutes, you know you're in trouble. This had the old lady duo of The Fabulous Moolah and Mae Young winning the match with a double clothesline.

That's right a double clothesline from two grandmothers less than 120 seconds into a match. This was succeeded by a catfight between Debra and Terri while Moolah paraded around with the Women's Championship for some bizarre reason.
