John Laurinaitis became the General Manager following the walkout of all the superstars following the violent methods of the COO, Triple H. To be fair to Laurinaitis, he did get a lot of heat, which was what he was supposed as a heel manager. But that’s not all that matters.

He couldn’t sell the storyline, and the promos were made worse thanks to his fumbling promos. It is a tragedy really, considering that he had everything going for him, especially being a former wrestler meant he was a much more credible GM than anybody else.
