There are instances when WWE writers shock the WWE Universe with unexpected twists and turns - like making a big name lose to a rookie.

One such new twist that hurt some of the pushes of existing talents on the rosters, was the recent addition of more highly potential NXT stars like Ricochet, Aleister Black and others, to both RAW and SmackDown Live.

Though the change was welcomed, many of the existing stars had to bend over to give these individuals the push, as they won their matches on both shows.

However, there are some wrestlers who are totally immune to this and will flourish regardless of how many matches they lose.

And here is a list of superstars whose popularity ratings are immune to their win/loss record...

#5 Elias

"Who wants to walk with Elias?"

No matter which part of the world you live in, you do know the one “universal truth” that everyone else does, which is that WWE stands for, “Walk With Elias”. This is actually a fact in terms of his character too, as no matter whether the amazing superstar and “rockstar” wins or loses his matches; the fans love for how he can control the crowds without a second thought.

He can convert any decent storyline into an Elias masterpiece and can turn from babyface to heel, within a few minutes, and the best part? The fans accept Elias the way that he is.

Despite not having the best storylines in the WWE on a week-in and week-out basis, his charisma just helps him connect to the WWE Universe, who cheer and boo him with all the passion in the world. This is why even a loss or two doesn’t impact his push or popularity at any point in time.

#4 Alexa Bliss

The Goddess
The Goddess

One of the best women’s heel characters in recent history and right there at the top in the Entertainment Business, Alexa Bliss has done it all in the WWE. From winning the SmackDown Live Women’s title to its counter-part on Raw, there was a point of time in her career when nothing could stop her.

Well, almost nothing. The injury that took her out of competition for some time may not have been permanent, but she has seen her character switch between an on and off ring performer. However, with respect to her popularity, everything she does turns to gold and there aren’t really too many fans across the globe that can actually dislike her (as she is that damn good).

Whether she is now able to utilize that popularity in the best way possible or not, remains to be seen. Despite that, “Little Miss Bliss” is one of the best heels in the company today and she loves every damn minute of it.

#3. Finn Balor

The Demon King who has been leading the Balor Club with his cool Irish persona in recent times has been a fan favorite since the time he made his RAW debut. He was given such a huge push in such a short span of time, because of the fact that the WWE Universe cheered him on and wanted him to succeed.

Though he isn’t the biggest in the ring or in the company, his stature has only grown and he has become one of the best in the business at entertaining people. With that being said, his multiple hard-fought losses to various superstars only helped WWE build him up as a fighting star, who has now been awarded the Intercontinental Title.

This is a direct indication of the fact that the fans love Finn Balor and want him to be given a push, like many of his peers who are still in the WWE midcard.

#2 Dean Ambrose

The Lunatic Fringe

When a WWE superstar might be possibly leaving and still don’t really hate him or her, you know that she/he is someone special. Especially when that star is the Lunatic Fringe, who was at one point of time, part of a small list of superstars carrying the Blue brand on his shoulders.

Dean was looking good on his return after an injury that kept him out nearly for a year, reuniting with his Shield brothers. However, the departure of Reigns and the sudden breakup of the faction, with Dean turning on Rollins, left him with a bizarre storyline to manage.

Since that point of time, he has won and lost the Intercontinental Title. Despite all that, the fans still love everything he does and never had any bad-blood on their minds, which is clear by the cheers that he has been getting in recent weeks when he confronts Rollins.

#1 Jeff Hardy

Jeff Hardy is loved universally
Jeff Hardy is loved universally

Delete!! Delete!! Delete!! The words that would fill the arenas whenever the Hardy Boys were involved, after their sensational return to the WWE. However, with Matt taking time off and possibly retiring from his in-ring persona, it is Jeff who continues to fight hard for more titles and adds to his legacy with the company on SmackDown Live.

He has been one of the greatest high-flyers of all times and though his character may see its ups and downs at times, he has always been cheered on right through his career. He has been a babyface right through and never ceases to amaze the crowd with his fearlessness.

One of the best tag teams ever and almost certainly future Hall Of Famers, the Hardys will always be welcomed by the crowds in any arena. Jeff still brings back a lot of memories from the Attitude Era and these nostalgia moments force to crowd to ignore how his matches end and what storyline he is part of, showering him with cheers and applause.
