#1. Hope isn't true: A botched elimination at WWE Royal Rumble 2021

Bianca Belair and Bayley were entangled in a feud on SmackDown.

The WWE Women's Royal Rumble match was won by Bianca Belair, who put on a history-making performance. The Women's Royal Rumble was received well by WWE fans, especially since it indicated that the company is pushing a younger, future star rather than an older part-timer like Edge.

Either way, Mike Johnson of PWInsider reported that Bayley was eliminated earlier than intended:

Mike Johnson of PWInsider recently confirmed that former WWE SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley was eliminated "a little earlier than originally planned." How much longer she was supposed to be in the match and who was set to eliminate her ultimately is unknown, but she is confirmed to have been eliminated before she was meant to go out.

We hope this isn't true because Bayley could have added a lot to the match. Given that she had a storyline on SmackDown with Bianca Belair, WWE would have been better off having kept Bayley right up until the end.
