AEW World Champion Jon Moxley's status for the upcoming PPV Fyter Fest has been put into question after his wife and WWE personality Renee Young was confirmed positive for COVID-19.

Moxley informed Tony Khan of secondhand exposure and so far, reports have indicated that he's tested negative for COVID-19. While multiple tests are one precaution, the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reported that AEW asked Moxley to isolate himself in a hotel until Fyter Fest.

However, he chose to stay by his wife Renee Young's side and they've reportedly been self-isolating in different parts of their house. The report further stated that the former WWE Superstar will be ready for Fyter Fest if his tests continue to be negative. Sportskeeda's Kishan Prasad wrote:

The former WWE Superstar has taken multiple COVID-19 tests this week, and none of them have come out positive. However, AEW has other plans if Jon Moxley does test positive for the Coronavirus. The promotion has decided that it will tape the match in an Empty Arena on a later date and add it to Fyter Fest the day it is aired.

We hope this is true because Moxley would be integral for Fyter Fest and they need a solid main event. However, we hope that the back-up plan is good enough.
