Otis has been having the best year in 2020. Not only did he have a great singles match at WrestleMania that saw him begin his on-screen pairing with Mandy Rose, but he started rising as a singles star and shocked the WWE Universe by becoming Mr. Money in the Bank 2020.

Wade Keller of PWTorch addressed the controversial finish of the match and why WWE chose to go with Otis as the official winner of Money in the Bank:
Breaking Vince Russo and Jim Cornette update HERE.
AJ Styles has an argument, they didn't make it last night though. So, I think they are going to stick with this. The argument is like the NFL, did he ever have sole possession of the briefcase or was he fumbling with it since the moment Corbin lost grip after Elias hit him from behind.
We hope this isn't true as AJ Styles was a better choice to win the briefcase. While he certainly didn't need it, Otis doesn't seem ready for the spot just yet.
