#2. AEW star Cody Rhodes - Brandi Rhodes

Like Renee Paquette, AEW star Cody Rhodes' wife Brandi is well-known to wrestling fans. She is AEW's Chief Brand Officer in addition to being an in-ring competitor.

Before entering the pro wrestling industry, Brandi Rhodes worked as a local news reporter and anchor.

"Broadcasting was always my long-term goal. When I was a kid and people would ask me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I would say a TV reporter. I got right into the field and started working as a journalist in Michigan for a while, and unfortunately, I realized I didn't like it. I was a reporter in Flint, Michigan, and I was outside a home with a dead body on Christmas while my whole family was at home enjoying the holiday, and I thought, 'I don't like this. This isn't what I thought it was going to be," she told Bleacher Report.

Brandi then moved to Florida to pursue a career in entertainment. She also earned a master’s degree in broadcasting from the University of Miami, after which she joined WWE in March 2011. She then left in December that same year before returning in 2013.

Rhodes' second WWE run lasted three years, during which she became an in-ring announcer and backstage interviewer. In 2016, she left WWE and spent the following three years competing in different promotions.

In 2019, Brandi Rhodes joined AEW alongside Cody. The 38-year-old has been absent from in-ring competition since announcing her pregnancy last year. She gave birth to her first child last June.
