#3 Stone Cold Steve Austin
Stone Cold calls himself the toughest SOB in the world. He proved that when he refused to give up even when he was locked in the Sharpshooter and bleeding profusely at Wrestlemania 13. That day, the world saw the resiliency of Austin and he became an overnight sensation.
It is ironic though that his decline started after he turned heel and tapped out, after being trapped in the Walls of Jericho and Crossface simultaneously on the Raw before King of The Ring PPV.
Austin again tapped out, this time to Kurt Angle when the latter applied the Ankle Lock on him at Unforgiven 2001 pay per view.
