#2 Sami Zayn

Sami Zayn may have held the NXT Championship for a cup of coffee, but The Underdog from the Underground hasn't fared that well on the main roster.

Jumping from the developmental brand in 2016, Zayn worked as a solid mid-carder babyface, and helped Braun Strowman get his big start as a singles star.

Turning heel and aligning himself with Kevin Owens has given Zayn's character a new edge, but today, over three years after his main roster debut, the Canadian is yet to taste Championship gold on RAW or SmackDown Live.

Now aged 34 years old, Zayn probably doesn't have too long left in WWE before he hangs up his boots or tries himself elsewhere, and a title win on the main roster would definitely be a feather in the cap of one of WWE's most talented stars.
