The former NXT Champion has had a commendable run on the main roster, but he has made sporadic appearances and has only a handful of good feuds to his name.
Black has an exciting gimmick, and he plays his role to utmost perfection. His short feuds with Murphy and AJ Styles showed us that he deserves better than spending weeks looking for good challengers.
We have seen him being a part of extremely good feuds on the Black and Gold brand, which proves that if booked well, his mesmerizing nature can help create wonders.

Therefore, he will make for a perfect opponent when booked against Kevin Owens. They both have different styles of wrestling but can work together quite well. Additionally, it will help Black further impress the WWE Universe who already regards him as one of the most promising talents on RAW.
Booking this feud can also facilitate a heel turn for Aleister Black's character, thereby adding a new dimension to his gimmick.
He is one of the few Superstars who desperately need a well-booked heel turn to break the monotony of their prolonged run as a babyface. Black deserves to be in a title picture, and a feud against Kevin Owens might just be the key to that.
