Dolph Ziggler won the World Heavyweight Championship Money in the Bank ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank 2012. The match also featured Christian, Cody Rhodes, Damien Sandow, Santino Marella, Sin Cara, Tensai, and Tyson Kidd.
Following the event, the Wrestling Observer’s Dave Meltzer reported that Ziggler “vocally complained backstage” about Sin Cara “working stiffly” during the match.
Meltzer clarified that, in his opinion, Sin Cara was not to blame for a high-risk Spanish Fly move which almost injured Ziggler.

“Ziggler slipped halfway through the move when Sin Cara's back was already bent far enough he could do nothing but fall. It's only Sin Cara's fault if he had ESP and would have known Ziggler was about to slip,” Meltzer wrote. [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

The original Sin Cara, better known as Mistico, frequently made mistakes while performing as the masked superstar in WWE between 2011 and 2013. He was later replaced by Hunico, who portrayed the Sin Cara character from 2013 to 2019.
Sin Cara’s in-ring mistakes were often pointed out by WWE fans on social media. After the incident with Ziggler at Money in the Bank 2012, the phrase “Botch Cara” even trended on Twitter.
