“WWE stood for Walk With Elias… but Elias is dead.”
Elias uttered those words after burning his guitar in a cryptic segment on the August 9 episode of WWE RAW. He also appeared in similar segments on the next two episodes before suddenly disappearing from RAW at the end of August.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Needless to say, WWE fans want answers. Where is Elias? Is he going to return with a new look and fresh persona? Why did he burn his guitar?

Due to Elias’ month-long absence, the answers to those questions remain unclear.

Moving forward, Elias desperately needs to receive a push in order to revive his career. WWE’s resident guitarist has fallen a long way from his days of feuding with the likes of John Cena and Roman Reigns between 2017 and 2019.
Elias lost 10 matches in a row on RAW between April and July, including four one-on-one matches against Jaxson Ryker. He also hasn’t competed in a pay-per-view match since losing in four minutes against Braun Strowman at Fastlane in March.
With the draft now looming, it is the perfect time for WWE to use Elias on television again and explain his apparent character change.

Before assuming his current role, Hart worked as a football writer at Goal.com between 2009 and 2016. He prides himself on writing original content that is fact-based and highly accurate. Hart thoroughly proofreads his work before submitting it and relies only on credible sources for information.
Hart’s favorite pro wrestler is The Undertaker. He admires the 2022 WWE Hall of Famer’s ability to reinvent his character and remain relevant across his decades-long career. If given the keys to WWE’s creative department, he would bring back The Phenom for a farewell bout against AJ Styles in a stadium full of fans. Not only that, but he would love to have the multi-time world champion’s greatest rivals seated at ringside for the spectacle.
When not watching and covering sports, Hart enjoys long-distance running, playing video games, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
