Lars Sullivan is currently out of action with a knee injury, but before The Freak was able to make a name for himself on the main roster, we went through a number of near-misses.
Sullivan was originally a force to be reckoned with in NXT and was advertised on December 17th, 2018 episode of RAW as one of six stars who were set to be promoted. Lacey Evans, Nikki Cross, EC3 and Heavy Machinery made up the field, but whilst all other stars went on to make their debuts, one of the advertised stars were missing.

It was revealed after the episode of RAW that Sullivan had been sent home from WWE and was struggling with some personal issues. This lasted for a number of months before The Freak was finally able to make his debut, attacking Kurt Angle on the Raw after WrestleMania more than four months later, in April.
Sullivan hasn't been able to make the kind of impact he hoped for due to injury, but he has his entire career ahead of him when he makes his return in June.
