It's not like the two men have much to do on SmackDown anyway!
Erick Rowan and Luke Harper have been off TV for such a long time that we sometimes forget they are even employed by the company. Since there's absolutely nothing for them to do on SmackDown Live, it might make sense for them to reunite with Wyatt one more time. In doing so, they could help The Eater of Worlds defeat Balor and establish this dominant stable as the guys who rule the roost on Raw.
This also makes sense because WWE is invariably heading towards a Shield reunion, at least from all the signs we have seen, and they will need credible opponents to work with. It also gives Harper and Rowan TV time and allows them to make good use of their immense talent. Harper especially is far too talented to just be sitting on the benches, without appearing on television at all.
