One match that the WWE Universe is eagerly awaiting to witness at SummerSlam 2020 is the match between WWE Champion Drew McIntyre and Randy Orton. Orton is at his heelish best going into SummerSlam 2020, even attacking his ally and friend Ric Flair, in the lead up to the show.

WWE could have something interesting planned for the match between Orton and McIntyre, with Sportskeeda's Tom Colohue hinting at a potential interference in the match:

"Randy Orton might not have visibly punted Ric Flair but neither did Braun Strowman visibly throw Alexa Bliss to the ground. It doesn't change the fact that WWE wanted Flair written off before the return to live TV. He could still return to cost either Orton or McIntyre at SummerSlam using as controlled an environment as possible. Now that was the original intention, to have Ric Flair somehow involved but the original plan was of course in an attack against McIntyre."

We could possibly see the match ending in disqualification and a rematch slated for the near future.
