#3 WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart starred in The Simpsons
In 1997, Bret Hart's career in WWE was at its peak and the Superstar was offered a guest spot on The Simpsons. In the season eight episode "The Old Man and the Lisa", Hart starred as a wrestler taking a look around Mr. Burn's mansion after the power plant owner lost his fortune.
The character that he voiced was called "The Hitman" and had the signature long wavy hair, pink vest,and wrap-around glasses that Hart wore in the ring. However, he also had a Russian accent.
Fans were left confused after seeing the WWE legend on their screens, but hearing a completely different voice come out of the mouth of the character. The accent that Hart used to voice the character left fans wondering if that really was the WWE star in the role.
It later transpired that the creators of the show had written Hart's character as a Russian. Despite this, they ultimately decided to draw the star as his usual image after the voices were recorded, due to just how popular the superstar was.
