Whether the rumoured Triple Threat match with Ronda Rousey and Asuka takes place next year or not, Charlotte Flair is the leading candidate to be part of a history-making women’s WrestleMania main event one day.

“The Queen” even ambitiously stated in a video package (embedded below) in August 2015 that she will headline “The Show of Shows” at some point in her career, which seemed ludicrous at the time but now feels like a very real possibility.

The current SmackDown Women’s champion has already firmly established herself as one of the best female performers in WWE history, and there’s a serious case to be put forward for her to go on last at ‘Mania, either against a megastar like Rousey or against her fellow “Four Horsewomen”, in the next 1-2 years.
