This seems like a program that The Demon King desperately needs currently!
Another opponent that Cena has never faced is 'The Demon King', Finn Balor. This contest is not only inevitable but also essential!

Finn Balor received a bigger push than Roman Reigns when he first made his debut on RAW. He became the first ever Universal Champion only twenty-seven days after his debut. Unfortunately, he lost all the momentum he once had because of an injury he sustained at SummerSlam 2016 and has never been able to recover. A program against Cena may do him a world of good.
Despite what is said about Cena and his golden 'shovel', he has made many stars over the course of his career. Some of them were indie darlings such as Sami Zayn, AJ Styles and Kevin Owens, men that Cena elevated to the pinnacle. Finn Balor and John Cena have never wrestled in the past, and we think that their collision could be titanic.
As long as Finn Balor and his demon persona are protected, he could come out of a program with Cena smelling of roses. WWE could once again capitalize on the equity they once saw in him.
