5 WWE Superstar lookalikes who can unlock their iPhones using face recognition

iPhone X Breezango
The iPhone X definitely appears to be a fashion statement Breezango would be into

In just under a month, Apple enthusiasts will be able to pre-order the iPhone X, which has been the cause of some controversy over its new feature wherein you can unlock your phone with face recognition software.

Since then, memes have been flying around about how to fool your phones and which things resemble other things which will cause problems for anyone trying to keep their phone under lock and key.

We here at Sportskeeda have wrestling on the mind all the time, so when pondering about the subject, it became obvious what to talk about next: the wrestlers who have celebrity doppelgangers out there in the world.

These are true replicas and not just the parodies like what Dolph Ziggler has been doing these past few weeks on SmackDown Live.

Naturally, there are plenty of people who "totally have a friend who looks exactly like" so and so—and if you're someone who has a buddy who does, feel free to let us know in the comments below—but for now, let's take a look at some of the WWE Superstars who have appearances so close to other celebrities that they could probably fool their phones when they come out later this fall.

#1 Roman Reigns and Jason Momoa

Aquaman is definitely The Big Dog in Atlantis.

Pretty much from the onset of Roman Reigns making his debut in WWE, comparisons to Jason Momoa have run rampant.

The two are close enough in age and appearance in just about every single way that if Reigns wanted to have a backup career as Momoa's stuntman, it's doubtful anybody else in the world could fit the bill better.

If Reigns gets tired of being The Guy in WWE, he can try his hand at being The King of Atlantis by picking up where Jason Momoa left off as Aquaman in the DCEU.

#2 Chris Jericho and Chef Gordon Ramsay

By no means is this breaking new ground by pointing out the resemblance between the two, but Chris Jericho and Gordon Ramsay look so much alike that it's been a running gag for years.

Jericho himself has even acknowledged it when one of his other celebrity clones, Bon Jovi, was brought up to him:

If Jericho is truly the best in the world at what he does, meanwhile Ramsay is one of the world's most renowned chefs, it would be interesting to see if any of the talents crosses the barriers with the looks.

Y2J needs to step into the kitchen while Ramsay steps into the ring to see what can happen.

#3 Edge and Matthew Lillard

If you're a professional wrestling fan, Edge is one of those names that everybody knows as Adam Copeland is a WWE Hall of Famer and a legend with a career that has so many accolades to it, most people forget half the accomplishments he's had.

Matthew Lillard is one of those actors who has been working pretty consistently since the mid-80s, but he's never been a household name.

Instead, he's more of the type that people recognize as "that guy" from Scooby-Doo or Scream or She's All That.

While the picture above is from a different era where they could easily be mistaken for each other, nowadays, both Copeland and Lillard sport shorter hairstyles and different facial hair (or, in some cases, none) which helps to differentiate the two.

Still, given their high resemblance several years ago, all it takes is a few changes and the two could be passing off as the other's double.

#4 Mark Henry and Rick Ross

This one is just too easy

Mark Henry has had a few different looks in WWE as he first entered the company with short hair and stubble, which eventually morphed into one of his longest appearances with dreadlocks.

Eventually, out of nowhere, he shaved his head and immediately started to be called a dead ringer for Rick Ross.

The parallels are undeniable and it just takes one glance at the two to see how an iPhone X would be easily fooled.

In the picture above, Henry even turned into the skid by dressing up as Ross for Halloween, and in the picture below, the two of them are standing side by side in what must have confused the people nearby who thought they were looking at clones.

#5 Cesaro and Jason Statham

Jason Statham and Cesaro
Together, they can be called The Expendabars

There were plenty of other suggestions to take into account, like Alicia Fox and Rihanna, Triple H and Sean Bean, Shelton Benjamin and Ryan Howard and others, but upon seeing that WWE themselves also endorsed the idea of Cesaro and Jason Statham looking alike, that one definitely stands out as a must to talk about.

Depending on how crazily detailed the iPhone X's face recognition capabilities are, a quick glance at the two shows enough similarities that it's doubtful a little extra hair on Statham's head and some now messed up dental work in Cesaro's mouth (due to his impact with the ring post at No Mercy) would be able to fool the system.

It's surprising WWE hasn't tried to capitalize on this in any real way, as you'd think any of Statham's film releases—particularly the Fast and the Furious franchise since it's the most popular and includes The Rock, who would be a go-between for the two—would justify at least a backstage joke or two, perhaps about how Cesaro taught him everything he knows:
