#3. WWE legend Edge

Randy Orton won the WWE Championship from Drew McIntyre at this year's Hell in a Cell Pay-Per-View. On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer said that Edge could challenge Randy Orton for the WWE title at WrestleMania 37.

I certainly was given the impression tonight that it's Orton and Edge the direction right now for that championship.

Even if Edge and Randy Orton's feud doesn't need a title, the third match between them is bound to happen given that Edge and Randy Orton are tied when it comes to the number of victories they accumulated against each other since The Rated-R Superstar's return.

Edge couldn't really step out of his Randy Orton feud to face other WWE superstars by the time he got injured at Backlash. So a WWE return on the Road to WrestleMania 37 could indirectly lead to Edge facing some stars who gained popularity during all those years he was retired.

From AJ Styles to Daniel Bryan, the list of potential opponents for Edge other than Randy Orton is huge, and the Rated-R Superstar could make a huge impact on the current generation of WWE upon his return from injury.
