#4 Goldust & Terri Runnels

Terri Runnels is one of the most popular valets in WWE history. As Marlena, she was known for smoking cigars and donning a gold gown. She managed "The Bizarre One" Goldust, AKA Dustin Rhodes.

Marlena was different from other female managers/valets in WWE such as Sable and Stacy Keibler. While they overshadowed the wrestlers, due to their appeal, she didn't take away any attention from Goldust. Instead, they brought out the best from one another.

They were legitimately married before being paired in WWE, and they had chemistry. In November 1997, Goldust split with Marlena after his feud with the late Brian Pillman. WWE Hall of Famer Luna Vachon became his new manager.

#3 WWE Hall of Famer Randy Savage and Miss Elizabeth

Professional wrestling is often compared to soap operas, and there's a reason for that. The industry is emotionally and physically driven, which is what makes it interesting and entertaining.

While fans were drawn to physical specimens such as Bruno Sammartino and Andre the Giant, they were also into romantic storylines. The Macho Man and Miss Elizabeth are the first to come to mind. The romantic duo made many fans weep when they reunited and embraced in the ring.

When Randy Savage proposed to her in the middle of the ring and she accepted, it was one of the most wholesome moments in WWE history. Online services such as Twitter and Google didn't exist at the time. So, not everyone knew that they were already married in real life, which made the entire thing feel special.
