After a few months at the forefront of WWE programming alongside her former best friend, Sasha Banks finally managed to overcome the odds and become the new SmackDown Women's Champion in an intense Hell in a Cell match against Bayley.

Sasha Banks has been one of the biggest stars of WWE's pandemic era programming, and she is showing no signs of slowing down. Currently, on SmackDown, The Boss has started a feud with Carmella, who recently returned with a new look and a new attitude to the Blue Brand of WWE. On Carmella's return, she made it known that she had it out for Sasha Banks by attacking her unexpectedly.

The rivalry between Carmella and Sasha Banks is bound to heat up following Survivor Series. However, after Banks' title win was such a huge WWE storyline, it does feel as though she will be keeping a hold of the belt for a while longer. Up until her current title reign, Banks had never successfully defended a singles championship.
