When WWE entered into the Ruthless Aggression era, Torrie Willson was one of the biggest Superstars in the women's division. During the first-ever brand split, Wilson was drafted to SmackDown, where she had her first major feud against Dawn Marie. This helped her to jump into the main event scene right away.

Acknowledging her popularity, WWE would put Wilson in a feud against the WWE Women's Champion, Molly Holly. While Wilson would face Holly for the title multiple times, she'd always found herself inches away from defeating the champion and bagging the gold from her.

Wilson would then go on to feud with the likes of Sable, Stacy Keibler, Ashley Massaro and many other big Superstars. At a point, she'd even join forces with Ric Flair and Carlito, whom she'd accompany to the ring. However, she'd rarely found herself again in the Women's Title picture.

While Wilson would go on a short hiatus to heal her back injuries in 2008, she'd eventually decide to hang up her wrestling boots and subsequently bid farewell to WWE without ever holding a single title in her nine-year-long career with Vince McMahon's company.
