#4 Big E

Roman Reigns vs. Big E does not appear to be on the horizon just yet. Right now, Roman Reigns is feuding with Kevin Owens over the Universal Championship, while Big E only recently became the new Intercontinental Champion.

Realistically, there is no reason why Big E cannot enter the Universal Championship picture at some stage in 2021. Roman Reigns’ special counsel, Paul Heyman, has even said on Talking Smack that Big E could be a future opponent for The Tribal Chief.

Whether it happens in the near future or after WrestleMania 37, it is inevitable that Big E will face Roman Reigns in 2021.

Big E’s history with Roman Reigns

Remarkably, Big E and Roman Reigns have never faced each other one-on-one. Their most famous match against each other arguably came at Survivor Series 2017, where The Shield defeated The New Day in a six-man tag match.

Given that both Superstars joined WWE’s main roster in late 2012, it is staggering that their paths have not yet crossed in singles competition.

The two men have shared the ring on 23 occasions on WWE’s main roster, but many of those matches were Battle Royals.
