Back in April, WWE released a long list of Superstars to cut costs amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. One of these Superstars was The Bulgarian Brute, Rusev. Rusev had been a part of the main roster for around six years, and fans weren't happy with his exit one bit.

Mere weeks later, WWE Superstar Roman Reigns posted a story on his official Instagram handle and stated that he misses Rusev. Reigns also talked about how he had amazing bouts with Rusev all over the world.
Rusev and Reigns squared off a bunch of times while both were regulars on WWE TV. Back in early 2016, Reigns feuded with The League of Nations, consisting of Rusev, Sheamus, Alberto Del Rio, and King Barrett. He also had a singles feud with Rusev later that year.
Soon after he was released, Rusev started a YouTube and a Twitch channel and regularly posts videos reminiscing his days as a WWE Superstar. Rusev has since stated that he is done with wrestling, but one can never say never in this business, and fans of Rusev are hoping that he comes back to action in the near future.

Given the opportunity to script WWE’s next big storyline, Abhilash would treat fans to the second installment of The Bloodline Civil War. He would book Roman Reigns to re-form The Bloodline with The Usos and Sami Zayn upon his comeback. The angle would see The Tribal Chief-led group go head-to-head with The Rock, Solo Sikoa, Tama Tonga, and Jacob Fatu in a blockbuster family feud.
