Hulk Hogan is one of the best-known faces in the wrestling business, a business that he helped create in the 1970s and 80s. Hogan has been able to have a number of WWE comebacks over the years due to the impressive pull of his Hulkamaniacs, but one comeback is more memorable than all of the others.

Back in 2006, Hogan was preparing to face off against Randy Orton in a "Legend vs Legend Killer" match at SummerSlam, but he had been suffering from some discomfort in his right knee.

Hogan headed home after a light session at the gym and revealed that when he stood up from his couch there was an "explosion" in his knee cap. Hogan had torn his MCL and just weeks out from his SummerSlam match he refused surgery and instead was able to wrestle through painkilling injections.

Despite the pain, Hogan was still able to defeat The Viper and claim his final victory in a WWE ring.
