#2 King Corbin

How do you go from retiring Kurt Angle and becoming King of the Ring to barely staying above water on the midcard? WWE has found themselves in this situation with Baron Corbin and he just doesn't seem to have any kind of firm spot at the moment. It's almost as if the company is content to let him float at this point.
With that being said and King Corbin once being a top heel, it is almost sad to see where he is now. This isn't exactly the WWE's fault, especially since he wasn't a great candidate for another Money in the Bank briefcase run and was needed as a stepping stone in the Intercontinental title tournament, but he deserves somewhere soft to land.
Look who just shut down all of Tony Khan's critics! More HERE.
Whether that turns out to be a challenger for Braun Strowman's Universal Title or even a run with the Intercontinental title remains to be seen, but being in the mid-card seems pointless for a character like him. In fact, it is a horrible waste of a heel character and just undoes everything that was built up for him.
