Shinsuke Nakamura came to WWE with all the hype in the world behind him after an incredible career in his native Japan. After a brief, fantastic run to begin his career, it's all gone downhill. The King of Strong Style has a flair and a charisma that no other in wrestling possesses, but for some reason, WWE just couldn't book him well enough, to the point where he is now simply treading water on SmackDown Live.

Reports coming from within WWE are that Nakamura has simply 'checked out', and is performing just so his family can continue living in Florida, and that's quite sad. While he enjoys the surf and the life in Florida, there's definitely a chance he can make a great living away from WWE while staying in the Sunshine State; so he'll need to think long and hard before re-signing with the company, which would probably continue the lackluster booking pattern with him.
