5 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon Could Push Very Soon And 4 He Might Not

Who is in for a huge push?
Who is in for a huge push?

To be honest, I enjoyed Royal Rumble to the core. Everything about the event - the storytelling, the pace, the athleticism, the electricity, and most importantly, the entertainment clicked and gave us a night to remember.

Looking at Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins solidifying their position in history by winning their respective Rumble matches brought chills down my spine.

Despite the fact that the show certainly had some downs, Vince McMahon was successful in gravitating the attention of the world towards the Grandest Stage of Them All, WrestleMania 35.

There were many intelligent stories told tonight and with superstars playing their role to perfection, some of the creative decisions left the fans baffled by the end of the night.

We all know that the Road to WrestleMania isn't a joyful ride for all the men and women who work their life to make a name for themselves on the biggest stage, and with competition from All Elite Wrestling beginning to erupt, Vince McMahon could be coerced to make some clinical decisions.

While some fans could expect Vince to heavily push some of the current crops, the others left in the field could have to wait for a more longer time.

So, without further ado, let's dive deep and predict the 5 WWE Superstars Vince McMahon could push very soon and 4 that he might not.

#1 Could push - Shinsuke Nakamura

Strong Style unleashed?
Strong Style unleashed?

Despite not being utilized to his full potential, Shinsuke Nakamura has always been one of the most decorated superstars to ever grace the squared circle.

His charisma is to die for and the United States Champion has an offensive style of wrestling which coerces the opposition to be afraid of what he could pull off next.

The nefarious attitude could take the King of Strong Style in a blockbuster bout at the Show of Shows who definitely is a major attraction on the independent circuits.

Considering that Mr. McMahon would avoid losing him to All Elite Wrestling, The Boss could be looking to propel his stock and increase his marketability to make him a huge hit among the fans again in 2019.

#2 Might not push - Nikki Cross

Same as SAnitY?
Same as SAnitY?

Widely adulated for her twisted antics in NXT, Nikki Cross possesses all the credentials to be a major superstar in the eyes of the hardcore fans.

Her last storyline involvement in NXT concerning Aleister Black and his mystery attacker was booked to perfection, with Nikki's twisted character bringing more anticipation in the angle.

Unfortunately, she's bound to suffer on the main roster. Despite being a promising professional wrestler, WWE's creative plans might not see Nikki playing a pivotal role at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Since SAnitY has suffered the wrath of poor creative booking on the main roster, don't expect Nikki Cross to get any preferential treatment either.

#3 Could Push - Nia Jax

Are we ready for this?
Are we ready for this?

Another WWE superstar who could be in line for a major push en route WrestleMania 35 is Nia Jax. The former Raw Women's Champion has proved to be a consequential member of the women's division on Monday Night Raw.

Her shocking appearance in the men's Royal Rumble match followed by a chilling stand-off with Dean Ambrose on Raw coerced us into believing that Vince McMahon could be planning something huge for the Irresistible Force.

Despite not being a clinical worker in the ring, Nia Jax's physical stature makes her character engaging and with WWE continuing to bring some inter-gender storylines into the frame, Jax could be leading the line to face the male talent on the main roster.

#4 Might not push - Rusev and Lana

A difficult spot to be in
A difficult spot to be in

It's a damn shame that Rusev and Lana have been poorly booked on SmackDown Live despite the Bulgarian Brute being one of the most popular acts of the New Era.

While the fans expected Rusev to successfully retain the United States Championship, his shocking loss to the King of Strong Style has raised many questions surrounding his current status with the WWE.

Moreover, Lana's exclusion out of the momen's Royal Rumble which paved the way for Becky Lynch to enter and headline the Showcase of the Immortals only justified what the management thought of her and the entire 'Rusev Day' gimmick.

There are no considerable plans for them to sink their teeth into, and with WrestleMania 35 being so close, Mr. McMahon might not want to push the popular couple anytime soon.

#5 Could Push - Dean Ambrose

The Lunatic is rumoured to leave WWE
The Lunatic is rumoured to leave WWE

One of the major stories that are making headlines in the world of professional wrestling today is Dean Ambrose's apparent exit from Vince McMahon's billion dollar company.

The story certainly comes as a shock for someone who is an influential part of one of the greatest groups in the history of the wrestling business in The Shield.

Judging by how things have panned out in the recent months after the former WWE Champion turned heel on Seth Rollins, the 33-year old superstar has certainly not received the adulation he deserved for his villainous role.

Considering the fact that the Chairman cannot afford to lose the former Intercontinental Champion, he could eventually push him to lock horns with someone like Triple H.

#6 Might not push - Apollo Crews

Is the hype real?
Is the hype real?

Another superstar who may still have to wait to get a solid position on the main roster is Apollo Crews. Don't get me wrong here, the guy is extremely talented and deserves the respect he gets for his fine athleticism.

However, Crews certainly lacks the 'it' factor that Vince McMahon is desperately searching for in the superstars on the main roster.

While the high-flying sensation was pushed initially in 2019, he always ends up losing on the big opportunities which only suggests that he might not be a top priority for any storyline going into the Show of Shows.

#7 Could Push - Mustafa Ali

Is he the new Underdog?
Is he the new Underdog?

Mustafa Ali is one of the most versatile in-ring performers of this generation and is continuing to prove that in the land of opportunity, SmackDown Live.

The Heart of 205 Live has impressed his critics by shockingly pinning the WWE Champion on the blue brand and could be in line for a massive push.

His current altercations with Samoa Joe only suggest that Vince McMahon could be planning an underdog storyline before making things more compelling for WrestleMania 35.

Considering that Ali eliminated both Shinsuke Nakamura and Samoa Joe out of the Royal Rumble, he could have huge things lined up for him soon which might also include a possible run with the United States Championship.

#7 Might not push - Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle is in the worst runs of his career
Kurt Angle is in the worst runs of his career

It's a damn shame that this list had to include a name as legendary as Kurt Angle, but the Olympic Gold Medalist's current direction coerced me to mention him in this piece.

The former World Champion has suffered multiple losses on the main roster from superstars like Drew Mcintyre, Baron Corbin, and Dolph Ziggler.

While I can understand the fact of pushing younger talent on the main roster, the company have absolutely failed to bring any legitimacy in his character and run on Monday Night Raw.

I can't seem to believe that the man who is highly recognized as one of the greatest technicians in the business has been brought down to such a level that it is impossible for us to care about him.

#9 Could Push - Bayley

Is Bayley in for a huge push?
Is Bayley in for a huge push?

In what was a solid match on Monday Night Raw, Bayley answered Ronda Rousey's Open Challenge and took her to the absolute limits.

Considering that it was Sasha Banks who brought the best out of the Rowdy One, the Hugger carved the same path and gave us a solid wrestling match tonight by carrying most of the bout by herself.

Since the Women's Tag-Team Championships are up for grabs at Elimination Chamber, it could be time when Vince McMahon catapults Bayley and Banks as the first team to grab the gold.

This could be incredible for Bayley who has been underutilized on the main roster since a long, long time, and could be in for a massive push alongside Sasha Banks in 2019.

There's no denying that Bayley has all the potential in the world to be a solid star on the red brand and her current push could propel her to unimaginable heights in 2019.
