In 2018, EC3 signed a contract with WWE and made his debut on NXT. There, he worked with the top stars of the brand before he was promoted to the main roster.
After his debut on the main roster, EC3 was reported to receive a push soon as Vince McMahon liked the star. However, the push for him ended long before it even really began.
According to a report, Vince didn't like EC3's feud with Dean Ambrose, which is why he has reportedly given up on the former Impact Wrestling star.
This explains why EC3 is now a fixture on WWE Main Event, and the last match he worked took place months ago.
That said, EC3 is currently out of action after suffering a concussion last November.
Although there's no word as to when EC3 would make his in-ring return, when he does, it's highly unlikely that his situation in WWE would be any different than it was before since the boss isn't on the board for a push for him anymore.
