Shawn Michaels is one of the few professional wrestlers who has been in the business a long time and has actually managed to make his marriage work. That will come as even more of a surprise to those of you who know the problems Michaels had with substance abuse and his general attitude throughout the 1990s.
Well, what probably helps is that Shawn didn't meet his current wife, Rebecca Curci, until the tail end of that tumultuous period in his life. Rebecca and HBK married in 1999 and have been together ever since.
Curci was once in the wrestling business herself, but not in WWE. No, Rebecca was actually one of the Nitro Girls that would act as cheerleaders to WWE Raw's Monday night rivals. How she met Shawn is anyone's guess considering the Hall of Famer never jumped ship to WCW, unlike many others.
