While there may be a lot of speculation with regard to Edge returning for the Royal Rumble, it may indeed be his better half who does! There are rumors galore that Beth Phoenix will be making her return at the Royal Rumble, in a move that should go down well with the WWE Universe.

Even though Phoenix is one of the most celebrated WWE Superstars of her time, she has reinvented herself and is currently the voice of the NXT brand. As we saw recently, she is still very good in the ring and can still go at the highest level.

I think it's very unlikely indeed that Beth Phoenix goes on and wins the entire Royal Rumble but maybe she could have an altercation with someone like Charlotte Flair, that develops and snowballs into a full-fledged feud for WrestleMania 36. Charlotte Flair really needs a strong feud and this could be just what the doctor ordered for her.
