The Glorious Bobby Roode is, in many ways, a wrestler's wrestler, much like Arn Anderson --whom he is compared to in the most flattering of terms. What we mean by he's a wrestler's wrestler is that he is looked up to and well liked backstage.

Roode is a true veteran, having fought his way up the independent ranks to being a staple of TNA Impact wrestling. He had a great run with partner Tennessee Cowboy James Storm, where they competed as Beer Money. Beer Money had multiple tag team title reigns, and their feud with the Motor City Machine Guns -- Alex Shelly and Chris Sabin -- led to many 'Match of the Year' candidates.

Bobby Roode did sign with WWE, coming into the NXT brand with a new character; Glorious Bobby Roode. The new persona made him wildly popular on NXT, and he has been quickly moved up first to SmackDown, then to Raw -- which is still considered the 'main' brand of WWE despite claims to the contrary.

Why he might be champion by the end of 2019: Bobby Roode has all the tools to be one of the greatest WWE champions of all time. He's always been a gifted technical performer, but now he has finally mastered his character and promos as well.
