#3 Aleister Black

How high will Aleister rise?

Aleister Black began the year as the number one contender for the NXT Championship, before moving over to RAW and SmackDown. He did double duty on both NXT and the main roster, as a tag team with Ricochet. They teamed together until WrestleMania, winning the 2019 Dusty Rhodes Tag Team Classic in the process. After 'Mania, the two were split up in the Superstar Shake-up. Black moved to SmackDown.

Due to the Wildcard rule, the former NXT Champion was in the wilderness for months, before he was finally found, locked in a dark room. Black challenged the entire roster to knock on his door and pick a fight with him. Cesaro accepted the challenge and the two proceeded to have an excellent match at Extreme Rules. However, Black remained stagnant for the rest of the year.

The Dutch Destroyer moved to the RAW brand and has had semi-regular squash matches on the show before entering into a program with Buddy Murphy. The two had an excellent match at TLC and will face each other again on next week's episode. The next year will surely spark better things for Aleister Black. He is good enough to hold at least the United States or the Intercontinental Championship for a long time.
