#1 Andrade

2019 was an absolute stop-start year for Andrade. It started brilliantly, as he wrestled a number of classics alongside Rey Mysterio. Andrade even got to defeat the Lucha legend clean. It seemed like this would be the year of Tranquilo but somewhere along the way, he just got forgotten about. After finishing in the final four of the Royal Rumble Match, Andrade did not do much.

The former NXT Champion was put into the Kickoff Show battle royal and did not get a bone thrown at him until Finn Balor showed up on SmackDown. The two had a program for the Intercontinental Championship, ending at Super ShowDown when Balor donned his face-paint to vanquish Andrade. The two even shared some dangerous high-spots in the Money in the Bank Ladder Match.

Again, stop-start booking has derailed Andrade's momentum many times throughout the year. He dominated Rey Mysterio, but it all amounted to nothing. He has recently been feuding with Humberto Carrillo, as well as showing signs of dissension with Zelina Vega. Hopefully, that is a false alarm and Andrade rises to capture the United States Championship from Mysterio himself.

It would be the perfect way for him to move to the next level after over a year of stagnation on RAW and SmackDown.
