Apollo Crews was viewed as one of WWE's brightest prospects when he debuted in NXT in 2015. He has all the tools to be a top superstar but it simply hasn't worked out as he had hoped. Talking to The Wrap, Apollo Crews was honest about his initial desire to cause a splash and shock the world but understand that it didn't happen yet.

I wanted to come in here and shock the world, I guess you could say. I felt like I would have done much more at this moment in my career. But I'm still young — I'm about to be 32 in a couple of days — and there's still a lot of time. I'm still very patient and understanding in how the process works. I trust the process.

What Crews said was true. 32 is still very young in wrestling years and there is a lot of time for Crews to shine. However, the reality is that he was called up way too early. He hadn't even gotten a year of developmental TV under his belt before being called up to the main roster.

A move to NXT would be perfect to revitalize his career.
