#1. Kofi Kingston

Don't get us wrong, we absolutely love to see Seth Rollins as Universal champion. However, for us, the WWE Championship will always be the gold standard of the industry and Kofi Kingston holds the symbol of excellence.
His dream came true at WrestleMania 35 when he won the WWE Championship. Knowing that the honeymoon phase was short, Kingston is all set to defend the title against a man who he briefly thought was an ally - Kevin Owens.
How Brock Lesnar ruined another wrestler's career - Watch Now!
He takes on Kevin Owens for the WWE Championship in his fourth defence (the first was on the RAW after WrestleMania). It's certainly going to be interesting to see what happens, but Kofi Kingston desperately needs this win to further legitimize his run as champion.
Hopefully, the reigning WWE Champion gets a long run with the title, because he desperately needs the win.
