Baron Corbin defeated Kurt Angle in his farewell match

This was, unfortunately, the most expected flop of the show. When Kurt Angle announced that Baron Corbin was his final opponent, fans were seething. They knew that the match would not deliver and they were absolutely spot on.

It didn't even feel like Corbin would benefit from beating Angle in his final match, but obviously, Corbin was never going to lose. Angle is as old school as it gets and the old school way of going out is by putting someone over.

Baron Corbin disappointed in Kurt Angle's farewell match. Thankfully, Angle did get his final moment with the WWE Universe, and there were clearly a lot of tears being shed. All said and done, Kurt Angle ended one of the most storied careers in wrestling history.

His two-decade-long tenure falls into a league of its own and it will never be forgotten.
