This one is one of the scariest incidents on this list. The year was 2002 and we were seeing the fourth ever TLC match on WWE RAW. That night, all the participants in the ring upped their ante and took some risks that they shouldn't have.
One particularly nasty spot saw Bubba Ray Dudley get concussed badly after Chris Jericho hit him with a Bulldog from the top of the ladder. Bubba blacked out soon after taking the move and was in a scary state backstage.
Bubba Ray Dudley's mother had actually recently passed away at the time, and Bubba Ray was so concussed that when he was being helped backstage, he kept on asking to see his mother. Tommy Dreamer, who was with Bubba Ray, was forced to lie to him in that scary situation and told him that his mother would come down later.
