We end this list with the most gruesome injury of the 5 - Joey Mercury's broken nose.
The year was 2006 and MNM (Mercury, Nitro, Melina) were facing William Regal & Dave Taylor, Brian Kendrick & Paul London and The Hardyz at the Armageddon PPV for the Tag-Team Championships.
At point during the match, Mercury was accidentally struck by a ladder to his face and it smashed his nose completely. Blood started spewing out uncontrollably and he needed help right away.
The injury was sort of a death knell for Joey Mercury's in-ring career. He did return to the ring later but it was never quite the same again. After having trouble with addiction issues, Mercury returned to WWE later as a backstage guy and was even a part of J&J Security along with Jamie Noble.
