5 WWE Superstars who have defeated Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar made his WWE debut in back in 2002. Starting out in OVW,believe it or not, he lost more matches than he won. However, it wasn't too long before he caught the eye of the officials and began his WWE journey as "The Beast Incarnate".

Looking at his WWE win-loss record, it wouldn't be wrong for one to say that Lesnar is the only superstar since Hulk Hogan that WWE has protected so much - It's not very often the fans sees a superstar defeating Brock Lesnar in the middle of the ring.

Speaking of win-loss record, one would also remember that Hulk Hogan hasn't won every single match he's been a part of, either. Therefore, it makes sense for Lesnar to have lost a few matches in his main roster WWE career, as well.

With that being said, let's take a look at this short-list of the superstars who have defeated Brock Lesnar, even though he is "The Beast Incarnate".

#5 John Cena

On the night after WrestleMania XXVIII, Brock Lesnar made his comeback to WWE following his 8-year hiatus from the company.

During a promo segment at the end of the episode, Lesnar came out and attacked John Cena, commencing his first feud after his return.

Due to the beating that Lesnar gave to Cena, a match was scheduled between the two superstars for the Extreme Rules PPV 2012, in a - what else? - extreme rules match.

Heading into the PPV, Lesnar was a clear favorite to win this match. However, in the end, it was Cena who surprisingly snagged the victory, even though Lesnar dominated the entire match by destroying Cena single-handedly.

The surprising thing is, Cena defeating Lesnar at the PPV was just pointless, since it was Lesnar's first match after his return and there was absolutely no reason for him to lose this major match.

Nonetheless, John Cena still goes down in history as one of the few superstars who have defeated Brock Lesnar.

#4 Triple H

Following the night after WWE Extreme Rules PPV 2012, Brock Lesnar laid some unreasonable demands on Raw, including giving him his own personal jet, having Raw renamed to Monday Night Raw Starring Brock Lesnar and others.

Unfortunately for Lesnar, these demands were rejected by WWE COO Triple H, which commenced a feud between the two superstars. It was a brief one, though, as both men went on hiatus just after having one match.

On the other hand, a few months before WrestleMania XXIX, Triple H returned to WWE and laid down a challenge to Lesnar, which The Beast accepted.

This match was special in more ways than one, as it had two interesting stipulations: first, it was a No Holds Barred match and, second, if Lesnar won, Triple H would have to retire.

Now heading into the PPV, there was no reason to believe that Triple H would lose this match as he still had a few more good years left in him, as he's even now still performing.

Therefore, as expected Triple H defeated Brock Lesnar, although, it took more than a few Pedigrees to put "The Beast Incarnate" to sleep.

#3 Big Show

After losing the title to Big Show, Brock Lesnar turned face for the first time ever in WWE and surprisingly became a huge crowd favorite

It's hard to believe, but the seven-feet-giant Big Show handed Brock Lesnar his first loss in WWE in under four minutes.

At the Survivor Series 2002 PPV, a match took place between Big Show and Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, which The Next Big Thing held at that time.

Even though Paul Heyman was the advocate for Lesnar at the time, he betrayed Lesnar and distracted him. This diversion created by Heyman gave Big Show enough time to deliver a chokeslam to Lesnar and pin him for the title.

After losing the title, Lesnar turned face for the first time ever in WWE and surprisingly became a huge crowd favorite.

It's fascinating to think if Paul Heyman would betray Lesnar once again as he had in the past!

#2 Eddie Guerrero

There was just a month left before Brock Lesnar would head into WrestleMania XX as the WWE Champion. However, there was one superstar standing in his way to stop that from happening - "Latino Heat" himself, Eddie Guerrero.

To be honest, Eddie Guerrero seemed to be just another Superstar who was put in the ring to feed Lesnar however, what happened turned out to be the opposite.

At No Way Out 2004, Guerrero faced off against Lesnar for the WWE Title in a one-on-one match. In a shocking series of events during the match, the referee was knocked down and then, in a flash, one of Lesnar's old rivals, Goldberg, attacked him out of nowhere.

This beating from Goldberg only made Lesnar easy pickings for Guererro, as he was able to defeat Lesnar for the WWE Title after fighting nearly thirty-minutes with him.

#1 Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar once fought at WrestleMania XIX, where Lesnar defeated Angle for the WWE Championship after delivering several F5 to him.

However, it was a little while until Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar met again with the WWE Title on the line, this time involving Big Show in the mix.

At the WWE Vengeance PPV 2003, Kurt Angle, Brock Lesnar, and Big Show fought each other in a triple threat match for the WWE Title, which Lesnar held at the time.

The match ended with Angle scoring a pinfall on Lesnar to win the title, even though everyone was expecting Big Show to take the fall as it was the only reasonable explanation as to why he was added into the match.

After winning the title, Angle faced Lesnar once again at SummerSlam PPV 2003. This time, Angle successfully retained his title by making Lesnar tap to his submission hold, the ankle lock.

One thing to note in Angle's consecutive victories over Lesnar is that he's the only superstar in WWE history to make Lesnar tap out.

Obviously there are others, so what are some other significant Lesnar loses you can think of? Share your thoughts in the comments down below!
