When Goldberg defeated The Fiend, fans knew they are going to see his match against Roman Reigns. These two Superstars are now scheduled to battle it out for the Universal Championship at The Grandest Stage of Them All.

One would think if WWE could surprise us with this match. While it’s true that a WrestleMania without fans could be a blessing in disguise for Reigns (if you didn’t understand this, click here), Vince McMahon may not want to do things this way.

Reigns has fan support, even if doesn’t seem like that. WWE could book him to lose to Goldberg so that the fans hate him even more. Later, Reigns could challenge him again (preferable at SummerSlam) and finally win the title. The fan will give him a positive reaction and this victory would be much more meaningful then as compared to WrestleMania 36.

This has already happened with Reigns before. When fans thought he'll defeat Brock Lesnar to become the Universal Champion at WrestleMania 34, Vince McMahon pulled the triggers and changed the outcome.
