5 WWE superstars who should switch brands

With the flagship WWE shows having separate rosters, you can't help but think that some superstars might have more promising rivalries and storylines if they were on the other show.

In this article we look at 5 superstars that could benefit from a switch.

#5 Samoa Joe

Could Joe find more success with the blue brand?

Samoa Joe has been dominant since his debut on the main roster. Just not quite dominant enough.

Despite being pushed into the main event, he can never seem to win the big matches against people like Roman Reigns and Brock Lesnar. This makes me think that he may have a ceiling on Raw due to the fact other superstars are being pushed ahead of him

It seems likely he will be facing John Cena at Wrestlemania. Is this going to be the same story? Perhaps if Joe makes a debut in 'The land of opportunity' after Wrestlemania and has a dominant run as WWE champion it could be the shot in the arm his career needs!

#4 Jinder Mahal

Jinder could have some great feuds on Raw

Jinder Mahal shocked the WWE universe to its very core when he defeated Randy Orton for the WWE championship. A lot of people called it a 'failed experiment' but he has established himself as one of the go-to heels on the roster.

I know Jinder only moved to Smackdown recently, but with there not being that many Baby faces on the Blue Brand, this could be called for.

It looks like Mahal will be going one on one with Bobby Roode at the Royal Rumble for the vacant United States Championship. Although a belt like that suits someone of Mahal's Gimmick is it more than likely they put the gold on Roode to start building him up after a disappointing few months for the 'Glorious One'

The problem is that after this, Jinder would have had rivalries with nearly all the major faces on the Smackdown roster. The easy solution is either make him babyface (which would not suit his character at all) or move him over to Raw for some new feuds, I would go with the latter!

#3 Woken Matt Hardy

Wonderfulllllll!!!

Now if I am honest, I think this gimmick has been dealt with horribly by creative so far and is almost dead in the water already. This is a massive shame as it was one of the best things throughout the world of wrestling in 2017.

People want to see more of Woken Matt Hardy and not just a short laughing segment and he is never going to have time to fully open up his character on the overcrowded Raw roster especially with talents like Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman being more of a focus.

What could help this gimmick is if after the Bray Wyatt feud Matt Hardy takes his 'Expedition of gold' over to the blue brand for a fresh start and perhaps even gets to main event the show for an extended period. This will allow him to start afresh and present the gimmick the way it should be!

#2 Bayley

Could Bayley benefit from a repackaging?

Bayley has really been lost in the shuffle on Monday Night Raw and it really is a shame for one of the most popular Women to ever come out of NXT.

Out of all the women in the division, no more of them are in need of a repackaging and a fresh start somewhere they can thrive. On Smackdown Bayley can reignite her rivalry with Charlotte and step out from behind the shadow of Sasha Banks, Alexa Bliss and other.

If rumours are true that the creative team have 'given up' on the hugger than this will also give her a chance to prove she can still hang at the top of the roster, what better place to do it than in the 'Land Of Opportunity'

It's truly a shame that the superstar who fans once believed would be the female John Cena has had such a sad first year on the main roster.

#1 Brock Lesnar

More A.J Vs Brock?

Now, I know what you are thinking and you are probably right. The WWE would never move the Beast away from their flagship show. Keep in mind though that in the past they have allowed ticket movers such as The Undertaker, Edge and John Cena to appear exclusively on the blue brand.

Ever since his return to the WWE Brock's habitat has been solely on the Red brand and after he probably loses the Universal Title to Reigns at Wrestlemania even a superstar of Lesnar's calibre could do with a fresh start.

This will also help with the viewing figures on Smackdown which are currently only just behind Raw. Brock could be just the boost the brand needs and can also have an extended programme with A.J Styles as we know they can steal the show.

Please sound off with who you would move if you had the power!!
