In the opening match of the PPV, Drew Gulak locked horns with Daniel Bryan in an excellent encounter. He has been feuding with Bryan for quite some time and was often seen claiming himself to be an expert in judging Bryan’s offense. Fortunately for him, both Superstars worked together extremely well to carry the same narration into their match at the PPV.

Throughout their bout, Gulak appeared to be one step ahead of Bryan. He had great counters and tirelessly fought against the master of the craft in an engaging match. Towards the closing minutes of the match, Gulak attempted a Reverse-DDT Suplex but Bryan countered and used a Yes Lock to win the match.

Gulak was shown tapping out, which allowed him to look stronger than usual. Bryan personally wanted to work with Gulak because he believed the latter isn’t being used to his full potential. Needless to say, Bryan succeeded in his intentions as the two are now set to meet at WrestleMania in another promising encounter.
