How the tables have turned in 2018 for Becky Lynch. From being a superstar that could hardly make the pre-show, she now walks into 2019 potentially being among the first women to ever main event WrestleMania.
While people may think it all happened from the SummerSlam heel turn, it built up before that. Fans always loved and reacted positively for The Man. She began to pick up a hot streak on SmackDown and it culminated with that big heel turn.
From there, it was a whole other journey for her, as fans only became more passionate about her and reacted even stronger for her. Since then, she's picked up the SmackDown Women's title, lost it to a worthy opponent, won the Royal Rumble and is even in segments attacking Stephanie McMahon.
Heck, she's even gotten the last word on the mic over John Cena, and that rarely ever happens. It's safe to say that WWE is quite heavily invested in Becky Lynch, and she might be the one to dethrone Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35.
