#1 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins has been handpicked to take the top spot that was left vacant when Roman Reigns made the unfortunate announcement. It's a decision that's hard to argue with, and you won't see much protest from the WWE Universe.
Simply put, there's no star on the WWE roster that Vince McMahon will be investing in more heavily than Seth Rollins. They have to push him as the new top dog in the company, and The Kingslayer might be poised for a solid run with the Universal Championship.
After all, it's been two and a half years since Rollins last held a World title, and over three and a half since he had his first World title reign. He's long overdue for another World title win, and he will be the leading star of the company heading into 2019.
It's well deserved for Rollins, who has had to work his whole career to get to the spot that he's poised for.
