#4 Kane

Will Kane be back?
Will Kane be back?

From one veteran staple of WWE to another - a character never to be seen outside of WWE in any form, and one that never will be seen outside of WWE. Kane and Undertaker are undoubtedly the two exceptions to the rule on this list in that they may never wrestle again, but you also wouldn't bet against either wrestling someday.

The Big Red Machine has been used sparingly ever since Glenn Jacobs, the man behind the mask, announced he'd be running for Mayor of Knox County. Kane had said he wouldn't continue to wrestle if elected and, while it's been very rare that we have seen Kane in a WWE ring, we have seen him - and it's always been under a mask.

The reason for this? Most definitely to separate Kane from Jacobs and determine one as a character to avoid confusion with the politician - with the legendary star even scrambling for his mask when it came off accidentally at WWE Crown Jewel.

Kane did very recently appear in a WWE ring, though, but as Glenn Jacobs completely out of character. Whether we see him wrestling again is another question. If he does, though, it'll be in WWE.
