Broken Matt Hardy has finally arrived.

The entire WWE Universe erupted with sheer joy when 'Woken' Matt Hardy finally arrived in the WWE. Loud chants of ‘Delete’ filled the entire arena in a blink of an eye. Even though the WWE and the Hardy's wanted to introduce their 'Broken' avatar to the WWE universe right off the bat, a long drawn legal battle against TNA ensured otherwise. But better late than never. 'Woken' Matt Hardy is here instead and it is here to stay.

Broken Matt Hardy was the best thing to ever happen to TNA Wrestling. Matt's new over the top persona made him the hottest commodity in all of pro wrestling in the year 2016. It will not be a stretch to say that the broken gimmick saved Matt from becoming irrelevant. And now millions of WWE fans will get the opportunity to savour a new side of Matt Hardy every week on WWE RAW.

The new 'Woken' avatar of Matt Hardy, not only brings something fresh to the table but also opens up the doors for exciting new rivalries. Thus, here are five WWE superstars that 'Woken' Matt Hardy must try and delete in the foreseeable future. These rivalries will provide some much-needed edge of the seat entertainment to the WWE fans, to say the least.

#1 Bray Wyatt

Let's hope that Matt Hardy deletes Sister Abigail for good.

The rivalry between Bray Wyatt and Woken Matt Hardy is already underway. There couldn’t have been a better first opponent for Matt Hardy than the 'Eater of the Worlds'. Matt Hardy's woken gimmick is unlike anything that the WWE Universe has ever witnessed before. Thus, in order to make the transition smooth for Matt and the WWE fans, it's only logical that Matt squares off against someone who is as deranged as him.

Also, Matt Hardy needs to win his debut feud in the broken persona. As Bray Wyatt’s character is already going downhill at a rapid pace, a loss at this juncture will not hurt him as much. WWE can book a Matt Hardy victory over Bray and in the process, delete Bray's current silly gimmick. A fresh start and a new persona are what Bray Wyatt so desperately needs to salvage his plummeting career. Therefore, a deletion of Wyatt at the hands of 'Woken' Matt is the perfect opportunity for the WWE to do so.

#2 AJ Styles

AJ Styles and Matt Hardy can have a phenomenal rivalry.

AJ Styles and Matt Hardy have never crossed paths before. They are not even on the same roster. But Matt Hardy is in the process of reinventing himself, and the Woken gimmick can either make or break his legendary career. Thus, it is of paramount importance for Matt to be involved in meaningful and stellar feuds.

"The Phenomenal One" is at the peak of his game at the moment. He is a household name all over the world and is the best thing that has happened to the WWE in a long time. He delivered an instant classic against Brock Lesnar at Survivor Series. Styles thus proved to one and all that he can wrestle anyone and make it look good.

Therefore, a feud with him is exactly what Matt Hardy needs at this juncture to reestablish himself as a singles competitor. Matt Hardy does not need to win his bout against AJ Styles. But battling one of the best in-ring performers in the world will provide him the platform to showcase his broken abilities to the WWE Universe.

#3 Jason Jordan

It is time for Jason Jordan to get 'Deleted'.

When Matt Hardy's brother Jeff Hardy injured himself, Matt aligned himself with Jason Jordan almost immediately. Not surprisingly though, their partnership was a gigantic failure, and the fans did not get behind them even for a fraction of a second.

Also, if there is a WWE superstar who the fans love to hate even more than Roman Reigns, it's Jason Jordan. WWE dropped the ball big time by introducing Jordan as Kurt Angle's long lost son. In the age of the internet where any information is merely a click away, such a bizarre storyline does not make any sense. Even though the WWE wants to shove Jason Jordan down everyone’s throat, the fans don’t want any piece of him.

So, imagine the massive pop that Broken Matt will get if he turns on his former partner. Members of the WWE Universe will surely welcome Jordan's deletion with open arms. Let's just hope that it happens sooner rather than later.

#4 Roman Reigns

The Roman Empire will never fall.

This one is never going to happen in a million years and is a pure wishful thinking on my part.

WWE is gung-ho about Roman Reigns. Wrestlemania 34 is just around the corner, and we will, unfortunately, get to witness another coronation of Roman Reigns. The "Big Dog" is expected to slay Brock Lesnar at the marquee event. The Roman Empire will rise once again at Wrestlemania and will probably never fall ever again.

Everybody hates Roman Reigns. He is decent with the mic and isn't downright horrible inside the squared circle either. But Roman Reigns does not deserve to be the face of the WWE. Thus, a permanent deletion of Roman Reigns from the WWE will be highly appreciated by the fans.

Matt Hardy is never going to defeat Roman Reigns in this lifetime. But once again, this is a feud which might elevate Woken Matt as a main eventer. Let's hope that the WWE makes this dream match happen soon, and also keep our fingers crossed that the impossible somehow happens. 'Woken' Matt defeating Reigns will surely be one of the biggest 'Holy S***' moments in the history of the WWE.

#5 Brother Nero

Is the arrival of Brother Nero next?

Jeff and Matt Hardy have been a tag team for many years now. The Hardy Boyz are without any shadow of a doubt, one of the most decorated tag teams in the history of professional wrestling. They have done it all, and don't need to prove anything more as a tag team.

But Jeff Hardy has also successfully proven his mettle as a singles competitor. Jeff Hardy is a former world and Intercontinental champion. He is also expected to receive a major singles push once he returns from the injury that has sidelined him for several months now.

But unfortunately for Matt Hardy, he has always lived in Jeff's shadow. But a successful implementation of the broken gimmick can change that. Thus, defeating the 'broken' avatar of Jeff Hardy, Brother Nero, will extend the limelight to Matt Hardy for a change. Also, Matt and Jeff Hardy have had several brutal encounters over the years, the last WWE happening 8 years back in 2009 at Backlash. The brothers have exceptional in-ring chemistry, even when they are fighting against each other. Therefore, Woken Matt vs Broken Jeff will a match for the ages and will be impossible to forget.
