After making his long-awaited return to WWE television at SummerSlam 2020, Roman Reigns appeared on the next episode of SmackDown in his own locker room alongside his surprising new ally, Paul Heyman.

Two days later, WWE interviewer Kayla Braxton waited outside Reigns’ locker room in an attempt to grab a quick word from The Big Dog ahead of his Universal Championship match against “The Fiend” Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman, but Heyman refused to let her see the SmackDown Superstar.

Anybody who follows behind-the-scenes WWE news will likely know that Reigns is considered a locker room leader by his fellow Superstars, which means he definitely does not have his own locker room backstage at WWE shows.

Speaking on Sitting Ringside with David Penzer in July 2020, Luke Gallows even credited Reigns with changing the negative atmosphere that used to exist in WWE.

“When I got there in 2016, I was pleasantly surprised because the locker room of old had changed. The old guard was gone. It wasn't everybody walking around on eggshells. I give big credit to Roman Reigns for that.” [H/T Wrestling Inc.]

Gallows explained that he did not like the vibe of some of the people in the WWE locker room during his previous run with the company.
